Learning and sharing visits between communities

TOKA will organize two one day visits for at least 15 people to regional communities (Curraj Valley, Shala River) which face similar challenges and opportunities, allowing an exchange of experience both on success stories of tourism and/or agricultural development, as well as challenges being faced in developing (lack of planning control, bad industrial developments, lack of resources etc). In addition to encouraging the exchange of ideas and solution-sharing, these meetings will contribute to community-building between previously isolated rural communities to form the groundwork for realizing a strong coalition. Locals from different small communities can discuss how to cross-promote each other, for example by creating extended regional tourism itineraries. These communities can in turn become
encouraged to reach out to other communities, building outreach and sharing support.
